Your Storage Solutions

Is there a home that has enough storage for every member of the family?

The answer is probably "NO"

No matter how much storage a home provides, it quite often doesn't cater for individuality and let's face it; we are all individuals and we need our home to allow for that individuality.

Let's look at some potential storage ideas/solutions:-

  • The simple linen cupboard - does it go right to the ceiling?  Often they don't so that's probably one of the first things to look at
  • Built in wardrobes - again do these go right to the ceiling?  Do the doors allow you to get right to the top shelf?  Putting oversize doors is a really simple solution but one still better left to the carpenter or builder
  • Kitchen cupboards - these days most kitchens have corner cupboards and although it's a little difficult you can still get to the back of these cupboards.  Older homes quite often have a "blind" corner
  • Laundry - in today's homes these are quite often hidden in a cupboard.  Most homes still have a room that is called the laundry.  We find that many laundries are under utilized because it wasn't the "done thing" to put a lot of cupboards in the laundry - we disagree.  We see it as a great room to create some real storage solutions.
  • The "spare room"   Who uses this room?  Is it a makeshift office? A room to "put" things until a better place is found? Kids' playroom?  If you use that spare room like many of us we can help make it a place for everyone to have what they need and often what they also want in the "spare room"

We can show how storage areas can be created often without taking any space away from your living areas,
